Non-profits have been addressing societal challenges and promoting sustainable development for a long time, but have been hindered by limited resources, inadequate skills, lack of technical leadership, and financial constraints. To overcome these challenges, non-profits are now embracing technological advancements such as AI, data analytics, cloud computing, mobile applications, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Magic Bus India Foundation is one such organisation that is leveraging technology to empower young individuals from underserved communities through activity-based life skills and employability skilling programmes. Technology is used to collect and analyse data, automate processes, and connect with stakeholders more meaningfully.
