Japan and Jordan recently signed a technical cooperation deal to share expertise and technical knowhow on modern technologies, such as digital identity, data-sharing, digital payments, artificial intelligence, blockchain, internet of things, robotics, cloud technology, and more. The deal also includes training and capacity building on technology, innovation, leadership, and digital government. Japan has also been widening the scope of its partnerships when it comes to digital transformation, such as joining India’s UPI digital payment ecosystem and learning from Singapore in rolling out a digital ID scheme.
