The United Nations initiated the celebration of World Population Day in 1989 to discuss and debate the challenges generated by the population. This year, researchers and policymakers are exploring if new Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies can provide a solution to population-related challenges. AI solutions have been implemented in some districts to gather real-time data on hospital infrastructure, leading to an optimal distribution of beds, medicines, infrastructure, doctors, etc. AI technologies can also analyze the patient’s family history, lifestyle, genetic matrix, antibiotic sensitivity, and more to prescribe the best diagnosis, treatment strategies and medication dosages.
