Diagnostic Robotics is a healthcare startup focused on helping emergency department physicians quickly diagnose incoming patients and direct them to the right healthcare resource. The company has expanded its scope to address population health management and preventive care, using AI tools for statistical analysis of large-scale data stores and natural language processing (NLP) to read and summarize text input. A recent study published in the Journal of American Emergency Medicine found that the automated notes generated by Diagnostic Robotics had a similar quality to manual notes taken for the same 148 patients, while reducing administrative burden.
