Father Bud Grant of St. Ambrose University is using virtual reality (VR) technology to take his students on virtual field trips to study different environments. Grant hopes to use the technology for his historical theology classes in the future, allowing students to explore places like Florence during the Renaissance. VR technology is becoming increasingly popular in education, allowing students to explore places and events that they would not be able to experience in person.
