Mledge: A Sustainable Initiative For The Development Of Efficient Networks And Solutions In The Cloud And Federated Learning

MLEDGE (Cloud and Edge Machine Learning) is a project that seeks to implement Federated Learning (FL) as an independent but optimized cross-sector layer on top of Cloud Edge, with real-world applications and data to demonstrate the synergy between the two. The project will focus on creating a secure and efficient ecosystem of FL services at the edge, capable of facilitating the use of sensitive personal and B2B data to train machine learning models. The project will also research areas such as FLaaS, Cloud Edge processing, efficient use of FL in hybrid clouds, protection against attacks, data portability challenges, and more.
