The Indian government is planning to develop an AI tool, ChatGPT, to help doctors increase their productivity and accuracy of diagnosis. The tool is being developed under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and will help doctors create digital prescriptions and save them in digital records. Apollo Hospitals Group has also launched an AI-powered Clinical Intelligence Engine (CIE) to help healthcare professionals predict the risk of cardiac disease in patients and start treatment in early stages. The CIE is capable of analysing vast amounts of data to help healthcare professionals identify patterns which may be missed otherwise.
