The Rise of AI Conference brought together 230 guests on site in Berlin and around 1300 remotely connected participants to discuss the state of AI research in Germany, its challenges and opportunities for the local economy, society, technology, environment, art and politics. The event featured an impressive line-up of speakers, including Jürgen Schmidhuber, Feiyu Xu, Tina Klüwer, Hans Uszkoreit, Sabina Jeschke, and Kai Zenner. Topics discussed included AI security, AI in a military context, psychological risk and fear management, cybersecurity, sustainability through and by AI, responsible AI, trustworthiness, technical sovereignty, robotics and embodiment research, and the influence of AI on creativity and future human-machine relationships.
