Quectel Breaks Ground For New Innovation Headquarters And Readies For Aggressive Growth Plans With Opening Of Most Advanced Smart Factory

Quectel Wireless Solutions, a global IoT solutions provider, has announced the groundbreaking of its new innovation Headquarter in Shanghai and the opening of its new Global Intelligent Manufacturing Center (GIMC) in Changzhou. The GIMC facility features advanced IoT automation and combines the latest technologies, including edge intelligence, machine learning, robotics and machine vision solutions. The project started construction in September 2021 and will commence operation in 2023, occupying an area of 72,000 square meters. It is capable of manufacturing Quectel’s full range of modules, including 4G, 5G, smart, automotive grade, narrowband IoT, GNSS, Wi-Fi modules and antennas.
