Operators are partnering with vertical industry experts to expand services and add revenue to their IoT services. GlobalData forecasts that IoT services and connections are growing, with global IoT hardware, software, and services revenues reaching $604bn in 2022 and growing to $865bn by 2026. Over the last six months, major operators have announced partnerships and initiatives to improve connectivity, such as AT&T’s partnership with Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to launch a wireless platform and private 5G network.
