Moravec’s paradox is the idea that things that are simple for humans to do, such as stacking cups, are actually difficult for robots to do. To allow robots to do the same kind of tasks, we need to leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence. This requires the robot to be able to see the object and form representations of the objects in the world. To do this, the robot needs to be able to interpret the massive set of numbers from each pixel. Machine learning is the process of feeding data to a program or machine and allowing it to learn.
