The 5G network is taking the Indian market by storm, with Ericsson Mobility Report predicting 690 million 5G subscriptions in the India region by 2028. India has all the basic building blocks required to develop and adopt technology at different levels, and companies like HFCL are partnering with Microsoft to create converged private 5G solutions. Monika Gupta, vice-president – 5G/telecom, Capgemini, believes that India is now innovating, researching, designing and making for both the world and itself.
