Innoviz, an Israeli startup, recently won the Edison Award in the ‘Smart Transportation’ category for their product, InnovizTwo. This product uses computer vision to enable Level 2+ safe autonomous driving, which allows partial automation of driving tasks such as steering, acceleration, and braking, but still requires human intervention. The Edison Awards is an annual awards program that celebrates excellence in innovation and new product development. This year, they added a ‘Smart Transportation’ category to recognize and honor the best new products, services and business leaders in the field of self-driving vehicles.
