Digital transformation in the education system has been underway for some time, and the Covid pandemic has accelerated the pace. The recently announced National Education Policy 2020 (NEP) is likely to take the digital drive of the education sector to a new level with universal access as one of the key tenets. Hybrid learning has taken the centre stage in the post-Covid world, and blockchain technology can be effectively used to overcome the challenge of access to quality education in far-flung regions of the country.
