Amazon has announced the launch of two new AI language models available through its cloud platform, Amazon Web Services, which customers will be able to use to build their own bots. Generative AI, algorithms that learn to produce text, code, imagery and more, has been gaining traction in the tech industry, and Amazon is joining the race. Microsoft and Google have also been developing their own language model technology, and are making them available through their cloud platforms. This has created demand for the basic tools that companies can use to build their own applications.
