Learning 2025 is an education program implemented by the School Superintendent’s Association (AASA) that calls for a “holistic redesign” of the United States’ public education system by 2025. Critics of the program have concerns with its potential use of artificial intelligence (AI), which they say could lead to treating students like “robots.” The program is based on a national commission that has identified a number of areas in which AI could be used in education, such as personalized learning, data-driven decision-making, and automated assessment.
