Hexagon AB, a global IT solutions provider, has launched Nexus, a platform co-engineered with Microsoft, to enable real-time collaboration between engineers and manufacturers across a product’s lifecycle. The platform’s Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) capabilities will be of particular interest to the 3D printing industry, as it aims to tackle the siloing of data and limited internal collaboration that is hampering progress. 3D Printing Industry attended the launch event and spoke to Mathieu Pérennou, Director Additive Manufacturing at Hexagon, who discussed the platform’s features and potential applications.
