Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar spoke at the Deep Tech Summit in Bengaluru, India, about the progress of the recently announced 300-acre Apple-Foxconn plant in Karnataka. He highlighted the opportunities in the digital economy space, such as internet consumer tech, artificial intelligence (AI), data plus economy, electronics, space, automobiles, and space, that have increased under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Government. He also discussed the government’s efforts in skill development and the Rs 8,000 key budget line item set aside for the same.
