Tesla is hiring for full-time positions in the fields of autopilot and robotics in North America, after recently laying off a significant portion of its global workforce. This move aligns with CEO Elon Musk’s vision to transform the company into a full-blown AI and robotics company. The company is looking for scientists and engineers to join the team and work on their self-driving and AI infrastructure efforts. This comes after several executive departures and hints from Musk about the possibility of selling their humanoid robot, Optimus, externally by 2025.
