The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has raised $17.5 million to drive research financing in emerging technologies and establish a Special Purpose Vehicle for centralizing efforts and fast-tracking Nigeria’s digitization efforts. The agency aims to position Nigeria among the top 25 percent of nations globally in strategic areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Internet of Things, Robotics, Blockchain, and Additive Manufacturing.
