Researchers from the Acceleration Consortium at the University of Toronto used cloud-based technology and self-driving labs to quickly and efficiently identify 21 of the best organic solid-state laser materials out of over 1000 tested. This approach, which involved labs from multiple countries, allowed for the sharing of knowledge and resources and ultimately led to the project’s success.
