This article compares the top DBaaS and DWaaS vendors – AWS, Microsoft, Google, and Oracle – based on three criteria: breadth of product offerings, database migration mechanisms, and pricing. It also highlights the importance of understanding the underlying architecture of the vendor’s database software and the benefits of using the same vendor for multiple products.
