‘generalist Mbas Will Fade With Time; Specialist Offerings Will Rise In B-schools’

Arvind Sahay, Director of MDI, Gurgaon, outlines his agenda for the B-school which includes future-proofing the institution from three perspectives – technology, regulation and markets. MDI is the third oldest B-school in the country offering a two-year general management programme and was the first to launch the one year MBA-equivalent in the late 1980s. MDI’s key differentiators include its PGDM programme in International Business, its National Cybersecurity framework in collaboration with IIT-K and MHA, and its new behavioural sciences lab that will do research and consult in the area of behavioural and neuroscience’ applications in business.
