Researchers from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and two Helmholtz platforms have developed a way to predict the quality of perovskite layers and solar cells using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This method assesses the quality of the layers and cells from variations in light emission during the manufacturing process. The results can be used to improve the manufacturing process and increase the efficiency of the perovskite tandem solar cells.
