System-on-a-Chip (SoC) is an electronic component that integrates multiple functional systems, including processors, memory, input/output systems, and sometimes even complete network interfaces onto a single chip. This integration has enabled the miniaturization of electronic systems, improved efficiency, reduced power consumption, and increased the overall performance of electronic systems. SoCs are now found in many of today’s connected devices, from smartphones and tablets to smart home devices and wearables, due to their ability to enable portability and form factor.
