A new IEEE study has found that 70% of tech executives have introduced or are planning to introduce tools that use natural language processing in the coming year. However, the study also cautions that integrating AI into existing work is not as straightforward as flipping a switch, and that digital transformation initiatives often have high failure rates. The top use cases for AI in the coming year include real-time cybersecurity, increasing supply chain efficiency, aiding and accelerating software development, automating customer service, and speeding up screening of job applicants.
