Machine Learning Model Most Accurately Predicts Levels Of Cognitive Impairment

A study conducted by Catherine Diaz-Asper and colleagues examined the effectiveness of an AI-based machine learning model to diagnose cognitive impairment in Alzheimer’s disease. The model was created from remote speech collection of community-dwelling adults and was found to provide accurate metrics for clinical trial inclusion. The study found that the model was able to accurately diagnose cognitive impairment with 75% accuracy.
