Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly integrated into university curricula, with professors giving students the opportunity to develop skills in AI programming. At the Davis School of Gerontology, students create a Wix website with algorithm-generated data for a specialization of cancer. At the Viterbi School of Engineering, AI is being used to detect blood markers of Alzheimer’s disease. AI is being used in a variety of disciplines, from neuroscience to biotechnology to pharmacology, and is redefining computer diagnostics.
