This experiment led to the creation of “Robo Beer”, which sold out quickly. AI technology is being used by many food businesses to improve efficiency, produce marketing materials, and develop new foods. Bernard Lahousse, founder of the Belgium-based AI company Foodpairing, explains that chefs often rely on accident to come up with new recipes and flavour combinations. AI technology can help to speed up this process and create new ideas that human chefs might not otherwise think of.
