This article discusses the findings of a survey conducted by KNIME and Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG) on the state of data science and machine learning. The survey highlights how organizations are prioritizing, investing, and operationalizing data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as the challenges they are facing. The survey was conducted among 366 professionals across the U.S. and Canada. Key findings include the need for clear data science and machine learning strategies, the importance of taking a standardized and structured approach to developing, deploying, and maintaining ML Models, and the lack of skilled talent as a major challenge.
