The 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, will feature a variety of robots and other technological gadgets, from autonomous bug zappers to driverless ice-cream trucks and android pianists. The Games will open with about 12,000 athletes and thousands of journalists, technical officials and spectators. Robots will patrol power-supply facilities, dance, play the piano, shuttle visitors, and even help construct venues. The mascots for the Games are three humanoid robots, Congcong, Lianlian and Chenchen.
