He Hacked Ai Chatbots To Find Flaws And Vulnerabilities, Now Northeastern’s Avijit Ghosh Is Writing A Report On Combating These Problems

Avijit Ghosh, a Northeastern University graduate and lecturer, recently participated in the Generative Red Team Challenge at the Defcon hacker convention in Las Vegas. The challenge was designed to find vulnerabilities in AI chatbots like ChatGPT, and Ghosh was able to successfully produce misinformation in the 50 minutes he was given. Ghosh is also co-authoring a report on the flaws and vulnerabilities found during the competition, which was attended by over 2,200 people from all over the world.
