BMW has announced a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Qualcomm to develop its next-generation advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). The cloud-based system will use AWS’s compute, generative AI, IoT, machine learning, and storage capabilities to accelerate the delivery of highly automated BMW vehicles. The collaboration will also help BMW handle the increasing amounts of data generated by automated driving features. ADAS can help drivers with early warning systems and capabilities that make driving safer and more comfortable.
