Voxel is a computer vision startup that has raised $12 million in strategic funding to increase workplace safety. The technology integrates with existing security cameras and can identify hazards, like near-miss vehicle collisions, blocked exits, improper ergonomics and spills. It is currently used by companies like Michael’s, Dollar Tree, Clorox, PPG Industries and Office Depot. Voxel automates the process of identifying hazards, risky behaviors and operational inefficiencies, and instead of just reporting incidents, it helps companies come up with real-time solutions.
