Vodafone Idea Foundation has partnered with the Telecom Sector Skill Council to launch an Internet of Things (IoT) Centre of Excellence at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women in India. The facility will focus on teaching students about emerging and new-age technologies, such as 5G, AI/Machine Learning, IoT, security and surveillance. The centre will provide hands-on training to build a skilled workforce for the future and empower engineering students, particularly women, with the knowledge and practical skills required to excel in the digital era.
