The global railway industry is undergoing a digital transformation, driven by trends such as Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), green and low carbon, and intelligence. This transformation is enabled by network connections based on 5G and IoT technologies, as well as a unified platform based on AI, big data and cloud. To improve transportation efficiency and security, these new technologies must be integrated with service scenarios. In terms of speed, the current speed for high-speed rail has reached 350km/h, and the next step will be further increasing this to 400km/h or higher. Additionally, the application of new technologies such as IoT can help to reduce the energy consumption of stations, trains and locomotives, making railway transportation greener and low carbon.
