Researchers at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham have developed Netravaad, a device that claims to turn eye signs into speech. Google has been making regular updates to its AI chatbot Bard, and recently announced PaLM 2, a state-of-the-art language model with improved multilingual, reasoning and coding capabilities. Google is reportedly developing a sequel to PaLM 2, called Gemini, which is being trained on YouTube data. OpenAI has also reportedly used YouTube to train some of its AI models.
