DeepL is a German start-up machine translation company founded in 2017. It is powered by an artificial neural network and is currently available in 31 languages, including Korean. It is known for its strong performance in understanding the context of the inputted language and producing natural-sounding results. In blind tests, DeepL’s translation of European languages to English, and vice versa, was rated about three times higher than the scores of its bigger competitors. DeepL’s primary focus is on the European markets, but it is expanding into other markets.
