As per the survey conducted by the Global Data team, 39% of healthcare industry professionals believe artificial intelligence (AI) will have a significant impact on the pharma industries in 2023. AI and ML tools like artificial neural networks (ANN), deep learning, and genetic algorithms are widely used for purposes such as lead drug molecule identification to post-marketing surveillance. AI can be used for decision-making purposes by referring to the existing database/knowledge input, and it can be extremely beneficial in the pharma industry due to its additional applications.
